Peace ( SoV & ABC )

We have formally made a new group. (ABC = ANZ Battlefield Community)


All of us still have friends in both camps, so we just want to keep the peace now.

I have left SoV as has some of the others with similar views as ours.
We dont want to continue the fighting. We gave up and jimi etc are back in town, so that should be the end of it.



I would appreciate it if Honey Badgers keep off our wall and would stop trolling.
I suppose in some aspects they've "won" so theres really no need to carry on.

We would just like to get along with SoV and our only interests are in social gaming at this point.
SoVs are free to jump on vent and have a game with some of their friends in our camp.

Hi Jason, I'm all for good relations between us, given what's happened. I know of the guys that maintain contact with you guys, and they know that we have know problem with it.

OK I have to put my 2cents in here....

Crusader there are no "winners" with this whole problem.

I hate to say this mate but SoV is a better place without you or the other 2 hitlers.

I am happy that you have started another platoon and I hope it go well

But I just want to say one thing, I was a bit pissed about the hack/shut down of our servers/vent.

Lastly I am all for peace and fun!!!!

PS. You might want to change you server name to ANZ or ABC 24/7

Mate, you tried to invite HB members. We would of had no other way to write on your crappy wall had you not. You know what you did and you only have yourself to blame. Accept your "loss" and move on.

This is supposed to be a thread about peace between ABC and SoV, now understandably there are ill feelings between the two new factions from this fallout, but both sides must respect the fact that the majority of SoV that have remained are innocent of the whole saga, and dont deserve to be caught in the middle of this, especially in our own forum. crusader, u say u want peace but u opened urself up when u just had to mention Ur beef with HB in Ur post. If Ur posting on our forum, do not post anything regarding hb, as it has nothing to do with us. and the same goes to hb members that i wont have u guys post anything on here abiut ABC.
if this turns into another flame war ill just delete the thread, or any abusive posts. peace, love and happiness to all

Its because we kept to our values and we tried to keep SoV going where it should have been.





What SoV was supposed to be for.....

SoV was started as a gaming community. A place for OTFs to rally after crypt killed the clan.

We opened our arms to others that would like to squad up in pub servers and game.



That was the reason for SoV.
We only allowed nice players in regardless of skill.



Now it has turned into a scrimming / competitive clan.
Some of the actions by some members were not in keeping with our morals or aligned with "Valour" - part of the clans name.
The AU & NZ Battlefield Gaming "Community", was changed to "Clan" as seen in the banner.


The only reason why it is "better" without us, is because obviously those left are competitive gamers and want to be like that.



All we wanted. Was to have a nice community. There are no excuses for us "this is the internet, being mean etc is acceptable here".





This isnt an attack. Its the truth, and we realised this, which is why we left.






Now. I have said that we just want to get along. SoV is on its own path. ABC is on another.


No need to have a flame war.

All we want is a bit of peace now so people who are friends of/in both can enjoy BF3 without the crap dragging on.



Either its a yes or a no.







@ Jimi. I appologised for "recruiting" an HB. We are only playing socially. So theres really no point in recruiting your competitive gamers.

I also appologised to NZ Gazz. I was told he was keen on social gaming and that he was leaving SoV.

I was misinformed.


Really. We have no desire to recruit out of HB or SoV.

All we do (ABC) is jump on ventrilo and squad up and play on public servers.
We are a community. Not a clan.

Before this shit started, SoV was a place where a scrim team AND a 'community' could exist together, they needed each other, the scrim team needed the community to recruit, and the community needed the scrim team to attract recruits.
Now the storm has blown over SoV is back to that place, and always will be while im here.

This 'peace' you talk of is just a guise so you can recruit SOV members. I was going to let it slide but you come here to our forum and tell us we have no lives because we play bf3, well how many of your precious hours did you waste in all these clans you claim to have had leadership roles, dont come here and insult our members. Show some of the maturity you claim to have. Dont get confused between where YOU wanted SoV to go and where it did go. You were not the only member of the clan whos opinion mattered, you were not the SoV leader you were just a HC member, same rights as everyone else.
