I am arranging a freindly with ak101 on friday night after our training, once we practise we can put the plan into action.

i need to tell the ak guys how many players we will have, so if i can get a show of hands who can make it?
(hoping we can get at least 10-12)

    7pm-8pm Training

8pm Sons of Valour vs ak101
    Take 2 - The REMATCH!!!!

time and numbers not confirmed but something will happen

Hmm… I usually go out for dinner every Friday but am often times back home by 9pm (NZ time which would be 7pm Canberra).
Sometimes dinner does take longer though so I may be 30min late for the training session in case dinner runs long, so if that's not a deal breaker for the match after I'd be down to join you guys in this match.

Let me know if this is okay.

    Cheers,
    M.

i will breif everyone on the strat, then we will run through the map checking out everyone's assignments.

I want you all to give input on your assigned position, when we get to it.

Once thats done we will practise initial rollouts, and keep doing that until we get them right
ie tank positions, soldiers fields of fire, spawn beacons , tugs, mines , claymores etc...

then hopefully that wont take too long and we can put what we just practised into action against ak and see what happens.

i will assign squads at practise, the guys who show up to prac will get first pick of their positions !!

Good work to all who attended and thanks to those who missed out for being there.

We started strong and held our ground but ak kept up the offensive and beat us back for a close first round
Second round did not go so well, ak took the initiative and seized B at the start, we struggled to retake it and make the ticket bleed stop.

A few points we can improve on .....

They had an strong air presence which allowed their armour to hold a strong defense of B, and with constant repairing our rpg's could not keep up.

We did very well, however we have to maintain a strong attack through-out the entire length of the scrim, we cant let ourselves be complacent. If we start to lose , do not throw your lives away in anger take a moment and co-ordinate with your squad on re-taking the objective.

On larger maps like this we cannot afford to have to be running from the other spawn point, its just too far, last remaining squad members should fall back until they get backup. Especially if they are not at a friendly spawn.
