man i hope it is a c-130 gun ship not a transport version, although a transport would also be fun. load tanks up and drop them off on the fly. sick

I wonder how many passes you would have to do with a jet to finish it off??
I imagine it would be like the one in the desert combat mod for 1942 where is is a gunship plus mobile spawn point

Except the Russian's don't really have a counterpart, so I'm guessing it'll be a Rush mode only thing (and so it may just be a transport as well).
Sadly being able to spawn on squadmembers means that mobile spawn points like the C-130 (or Sea King that was in DC) aren't so useful. It'll also probably be a huge target with the whole enemy team trying to take you out. I miss the fog from 42

Do you also think that there will be new gun loadouts for some of the existing vehicles??
In particular I noticed that the clip in that video of the F/A-18E SUPER HORNET, the main cannon seemed to sound different, like it was a more powerful version that could be equipped as a secondary instead of heat seekers or rocket pods?
But then again, maybe its just the sound team doing their thing on a promotional trailer to make it seem more attractive?!
Thoughts?

Yeah I suspect it's just a sound thing rather than a weapon upgrade. The cannon is pretty powerful as it is

it would be pretty boring to do high altitude circles in it. although fucking with the gunners would have been fun.

Apparently you can use a VPN and buy it through Origin India, where it works out to ~$35 NZ (+ some exchange fee). Guess it comes down to if you trust EA to not come down on this with the ban hammer.
