    Might want to check that out.

    Results of being able to keep the speed during the day.
    TelstraClear & Vodafone perform the worst.

    Telecom NZ performs the best.



    What can you take away from this ?

    -If you experience big slow downs at peak time, (5-8pm) then switching to Telecom NZ may fix the issue.

    -After some quick research, seems Telecom NZ has a contention ratio of 1:50

    (Very good considering many ISPs run ratios of 1:100, 1:150, 1:250 & even 1:400 !)



    AKA for every 50 customers they get, they buy 1 Mbit of bandwidth.

    *Not everyone of those 50 will be on the net at the same time.

    Most wont be using much bandwidth anyway just surfing emails etc.
    Considering Telecom NZ has the biggest customer base in NZ there is alot of bandwidth to spare Smile
