    Hey guys just wanted to make a post for cod4 problems to be posted and solutions posted.
    when ever i run cod4 and join a punk buster server I get kicked in a matter of minutes if not seconds for the reason of disallowed/illegal program or driver. Now i have read on many forums about this being due to steam's over view and i am sure it is an over view problem but even if i don't run steam i get this problem. One day i was talking to my friend on Skype and he said maybe its one of your processors (running Acer Laptop) so i ended any i found not necessary and it worked, Finally! but not for long, now, even if i end the same processes i have the same problem. Does any one know what i should do/try to solve this problem??? Thanks (trying to disable my EVGA right now due to a forum in other tab) Cheers, please reply! Sad

    Its usually caused by overlay programs such as xfire, steam craps evga etc. If you have those, try disabling them. Works for me
