I request a new clan name

I would like to keep the name.
It reflects that this clan is made of people with some decency & honour.


Also we are known with people and clans already.

Google also has us on top of the list.

I do support that we drop all preferences, ties & references to previous clans.

another thing we talked about last night is a new "leader" or well a head admin, not like founders who think
they have a higher power because right now a majority want a new clan so we want to start fresh
that mean fresh new name, fresh attitide and nothing from sov, also meaning leaders and stuff
we're going to work together and set up rules and use this clan to what the PEOPLE want.

basically if we are going to start new we're going to start big, that means no association with the sov clan or there previous
clans before that.

Well whatever we choose I advise to wait until the new site is made.

As stated, we have a professional webdeveloper making a new site.

Eta is after the release of BF3.


Just note, a clan name change should not be taken lightly as we do have top rank and alot of traffic to this site.

Hence most effective solution is to change the clan name when we move site, so we arent having to do a heap of changes all the time , confusing people and having to switch sites & URLs.

ohwell people you can choose to just wear sov tags or none at all until the new site is up
and everything is sorted.

the only reason i have requested a change is because half the oceanic clans acuse us of hacking
so really the best thing is to make the clan change right when bf3 comes out.

but yeah we might have a vote later when that sites up for new head admins (don't really need a council)

I mean think for a seich appens, whcond, alot of the ppl here came under this one name, and this clan has managed to obviously survive through a tonne of shit and yet, here everyone still is standing, really changing the name to me would be like throwing away a part of the story of this clan, better to be seen as a group of reselient people than changing our name each time shit happens, which it does. And personally all that aside I believe we already have a strong name. ehh theres my opinion, but if alot of people decide on change, I beleve it should stay simple and at least somehow relate to or honour our current name. there lol

We can reopen this issue once the new forums is done.
A switch of clan name will be one of the things we can redo upon moving to the new site.

well the problem with the clan name isn't one of resilience machette, it's what it represents, and when I join a server and am slagged off for being a hacker because of the tags it is useless to argue. the new start = new views of us AS PLAYERS and not comaparing us to the persona others have conjured.
