I have really been enjoying BF3 (even more) since teaming up with you all and I just wanted to share some of my experiances as a new kid on the block.
Firstly the benifits of squadding up with like minded people instead of randoms not only has increased my enjoyment of the game but has improved my game (skill wise) greatly. The other night I was stuck for a round of Bazaar with randoms. all 3 of my fellow random squaddies were all in different locations of the map and ignored my marking of objectives. in the end I was forced to try in vain to tackle objectives on my lonesome and I had possibly the worst round of my life. I ended up with a terrible score of something like 12 kills 27 deaths 1300 points for the round.
All because I had no support from my squaddies.
Next round, same map I was able to squad up with SoV members. it was like night and day. Suddenly objectives were being taken efficently, everyone was working together and everyone in the squad finished in the top 10 - along with other SoV members of different squads. SoV squads were even teaming up to attack objectives together, one drawing fire while the other flanked...absolutely beautiful. THIS is what Battlefield is all about.
I had another great experiance in my last game on Caspian Border. we ended up having 2 - 3 SoV squads and we just destroyed the opposition. The highlight of the round for me - our squads were in possesion of two tanks and were advancing on [E] through the open field that runs between [A] and [E]. these tanks were supported by two full squads of SoV infantry walking between the tanks in a line formation, which was a sight to behold, providing support, repairs etc. This group game across two enemy tanks who were utterly destroyed buy a combo of rocket fire and tank fire. Some infantry showed up and they too were cut down before even one of our guys could be hit. Awesome.
I'm sure there will be many more moments like this, but I wanted to share these with you all as a new member to the team to show you how much it is appreciated and how much of a privilege it is to play alongside such a great bunch of people who KNOW how the game is meant to be played.
