    Well,

    I bought a house, move in next week. We go to our service provider and inform them of the move and that we will need our service moved. Telstra then proceeds to tell us that ADSL2+ infrastructure is not in our area and we will have to go to ADSL1+ but of course we will be paying the same price....

    So I'm now going to be enjoying speeds of 160kb/s instead of the 1000kb/s I have been enjoying for the last year and a half. And there are no future plans to update the infrastructure

    On one side of the road its ADSL2 on the other its only ADSL1 I drew the short straw :-(
