MORE ADMINS!

lately there has been too many hackers and not enough admins in site, making it hard to keep a firm hand slappin hackers.
Maybe (just an idea been thrown might already of been thought of n thrown) that give some members the single ability to kick, purely for kicking hackers, no other reason, and have these players monitored to make sure there upholding that duty ect. thought id throw it out there.

-Contact Scarecrow & make your case.
He will chose the admins for the server.

-Being a server admin, means that you will follow a set of guidelines on disciplining players & upholding the server rules, which you must become familiar with.

I understand where you are coming from, I have been absent lately and will be for a couple of weeks since I have exams now.

Could the people wanting admin, PM me with their past experience (if any) and a few reasons why you want admin privileges. I will get back to the people who have been accepted.

i can monitor the server via bc2cc if you are desparate for admins. cant do ingame though.

Id say just give people the basic ingame admin things, like warnings and kick.

that was my original idea, then crusader showed how many members and admins there are so i think its sorta needed anyway

Might not be a bad idea to give all members the ability to at least slay and kick. These privs only usable tho if a game admin isnt present in server or they get an ok from an admin who is in game to do so. Obviously it would need to be reviewed and if members are abusing it, have the privs taken aaway.

From what I can gather about the system there would be no way to set it up to give kicking/slaying rights if an admin was not present in game unless it was done manually every time, but +1 for the idea! All in all I'm in support of the idea as we admins aren't on all the time. A possible solution, if member-admins didn't happen is some sort of way of getting in contact with the admin's if they aren't in game. Eg: Facebook, Text Message, Skype, MSN.

It can be done slato.

We've done this before in OTF, and it didnt end well.
Thats why im so uptight about admin powers given out.

Needs to be people who earn it and can display proper admin skills.


Plenty of times we gave it to the wrong people who abused the powers & went on kicking & banning sprees.



As said a million times now. All SoVs wanting to be admins, need to apply and follow the proper application process.


Most of the dick heads in game, we can just let slide. Its repeat offenders im worried about.

Also with the application process, we can establish which people are suited to be an admin, and we can also have a chat with the person involved and establish boundaries etc.

I like that idea of having all the admins chat to the applicant. This way we will know if people are trustworthy.

I'm always open to people who want to be ingame admins.

They will need to be in an interview with me and another admin.

And me! *looks away sadly* I never get to be doing admin things...
