*I havent put monarchy / dictatorship in as I dont think we want to go down that road again.

I think having the power spread across a small group is the most fitting option here, simply for the fact that everyone will be equal and we won't have an admin that goes nuts with power which could happen if we chose the other one. (Not saying you would go nuts with power crusader lol)

We didn't have a monarchy / dictatorship in the OTF clan we had a duoploy between crus and cryptic, im assuming that jamie is a alias. Dictatorship are all bad but they only come in two flavours tho shit or sweet. Democracy is good but it can lead to a bureacratic stagnation. I think we should have a american like style on SOV. Have ONE ruler who handles the clan on a day to day basis and handling major things ie clan apps clan relations etc we have a council/congress and that its full with respected loyal membs (only a few) and the day to day ruler and ALL have only one vote on the direction and leadership of SOV

Cryptic underminded my authroity a few times. Didnt like it when I opposed banning certain people & things.
Its complicated.

Anyway, just to prove how well the duopoly worked. We were all kicked off otf forums & it was deleted.. I was also remvoed from admin on 2142cc.

i think that the power to ban another person should be given to 4 or 6 admin type people but the power to ban for an extended period or a total ban should be shared among the admin type people with ample evidence and a majority ruleing after viewing the evidence at hand....thats just my ten cents worth......

I think Crusader mentioned it in another thread but he had idea that I be the server admin, crusader be the forum admin and pansy the recruitment and everything else admin.

I'm actually siding with hopeless. I didn't fully understand what each of them meant when I first voted.

The one that everyone has voted for at the moment means that the admins are equal, they make decisions together as a group.

The second one, is where we have one head admin that finialises everything. There are admin below him that take in member feedback and relay it to the head admin.

What ur talking about is more of Monarchy style blah blah blah
which one leader in control and par/council are advisors

There a big difference between the two which is important

Actually that sounds more like constitutional monarchy. Where the power of the monarch is kept in check by the parliament.

Well, I personally believe that the power should be spread across the admins. So we can't have one admin goes awol with power lol

slight difference crus the queen has the power to dissolve parl in nz aus etc. The american president doesn't have the power to dissolve congress there two separate form of government

We should be like the Queen. And then we can all have pet dogs!

But no, I think that if you have leaders of different parts then that could create some tenstion if another leader does not like the way that another is running things. But actually.. I am confusing my self. I like it how it was with OTF.

I am pleased to announce that this clan will be run by democracy.

We will always have 3-4 council members.

The tasks will be shared between us. However each of us will be head admin of our own section.


Currently:

Crawler = Game server head admin
Myself = Forums head admin
Pansy = ( not sure if he will take the job * need to talk with him )
Chewie = ( not sure, will talk with him too )


Jobs that will need to be divided up (including ones already designated )

-VoIP server(s)
-Recruiting
-Clan relations
-Clan scrim

may be others.
