Would like to get an idea of what Primary and Secondary Class and Roll people might play when BF3 comes back....Also Add your in-game name just to check that everyone will get into platoon/friends list, this make squadding and joining off people much easier.
Also I would like to add that if you wish to be a Squad Leader in-game you have to earn a XX amount of Ace Ribbons and Squad spawn Ribbons (the person with the highest amount in a Squad at start of a game will be Squad Leader). If you have any other helpful info about BF3 please add to this post.

Those of you who would like to be an effective Commander post it so we can see who wants to play that role. We will need good leaders for our server so outsiders don't come in and ninja our spot; killing the game play for us all.
Also put your hand up for Squad leader we need people who can survive and prevent a squad wipe, 5 capping, destroying all Com's or Defending all Com's is going to take planing and Team work. Again playing these roles you will need the Points for it which means Ribbons and lots of team work if its anything to go by we should be seeing a system much like BF2 for commander. The more time spent as a Commander, Most Valuable player or Best Squad the more chance of being Commander or Squad leader.

Squad leader: Total kamakazi in the line of fire (must seize objective) but always have some good spawn points so yeah.
Primary Class: Sniper Class Roll: Specialising in pain in the ass mode. Getting behind enemy lines to plant mobile spawn point(msp) and close quarter sniping, once msp is down switch to other class for max efficiency.
Secondary Class: Anything. Class Roll: Depending on what others are and what the need is. However found that support with m249 behind enemy lines works brilliantly.
Vehicle's: All Air Support: All
Commander: Not as yet Squad leader: Can do, however if playing pain in the ass mode, life span is seen to be limited.
Really I don't care, as long as I get to play and be a help (allies) or annoying (enemies) then my job is complete.

I WILL DO IT ONE DAY.. (and not by camping.. i do play as a team and play objectives..)

Tonight I'm going to let you in on a few trade secrets. I'v had a look at what most of you are saying your class and rolls are and its great to see a lot of ground based players. But remember those of you who love flying, the sky's will be full of people who wish to take you out with jets or AA fire. I spent 2 hours last night looking at Tube video footage and was amazed at how easy it was for jets to take out other jets, jets shooting down attack Choppers and last the new Dice video of Jets taking out armoured Vehicle's.
Tonight is going to be about clearing the sky's and working together and being affective as a small attack squad or whole god dam platoon. Our line of mobile air defence for Air targets are LAV 25 AD, 9K22 Tunguska, Stingers, BMP-2, M3A3 APC, M1 Abrams and the T-90. Now before I start you may ask Tanks cant take out Aircraft but they are part of a master plan. Ok so after all unlocks a Mobile AA is probably going to be the top air defence standing alone but if you don't get TK'ed for it or people come hunting for you your going to loose it very quick. There armour is very soft and only takes 2 shots from just about anything RPG, Tank, C4 to destroy (With unlocks alot more). But they can take out tanks and infantry. I would not suggest to do this alone if taking out tanks, However working along side a APC is very affective. A good APC driver can take out a tank before he knows what hit him and with Guided missiles there is no need to be in the thick of things. Both Vehicles are fast moving and very good at taking out Air targets so together you should be unstoppable. Infantry wont be able to get close to you to place C4 or RPG you and with your fast movement it only takes a rock or sea container to stop people from getting a lock on you. Having the right unlocks on will defiantly help.
When it comes to using Stingers for Air Defence early on you will succeed until IR Flares(Infrared flares that distract incoming anti-air missiles) are applied or ECM radio jammer(A chaff launcher which makes it difficult for enemies to lock on your aircraft) is used. To beat this work in pears and make sure your hidden but in open air space, have both of you lock on but only one of you fire force the aircraft to use IRF's and then as soon as the second person relocks on let rip first person should of reloaded by now and be ready for a second shot if needed.
The last is my favourite using Tanks to take out Jets and Choppers. The taking out Choppers part is very easy. But taking out Jets is much harder but again with team work it can be done. So here is a trick you can try with someone in a Jet. If your Jet buddy has a "Boggie" on his tail kite him as best as you can and as low as yo can to the ground, warn your Tank buddy your coming in with a friend behind fly over him and try and shoot the bugger as he fly's over him..... I think there is serious issues with that system. I'll be flying around, hear a locking beep, then a lock beep and finally a missile alert beep. If I pop flares during the locking then it makes it harder for them to lock on. They can still however wait till the IR Flares have gone and re-lock. With the lock beep it doesn't work, I pop flares and somehow they can still fire it, track and hit me. The same applies after they have fired the missile. Something is VERY wrong with the system. Too easy to shoot down Aiircraft with a stinger.
If you hear the lock on while in a jet, climb up and go straight, you will soon be out of range of the stinger, only if you are circling the stinger will he manage to get off a missle.
Ok so I can't tell you what Commander is going to be like because it was not in beta and nothing much has relay been said about the roll but here is a Tube Video of what it was like in BF2. TBH I do hope they bring something like this back....A because its a fun roll and it makes the game that much more real.
On the left you can see the 5 main functions. 4 squads with 1 leader each and 5 squad members and each of there classes and HP along with a skull to state they are dead. Watch 5 mins of this video and you'll see very quickly how the commander roll is played.
Would love to see a M109 on the battlefield...... sweet sweet bitter goodness that would be. but i think the M224 Motor will do just fine..... this is going to be the slowest and longest 9 days EVER.
So who has noticed that I have an obsession with tanks .... My dream is to own one some day....
