Lag on Forums

Am I the only one who is getting lag when i am using the forums now that the bf3 pic has been put up behind this post area thingy? if so is there anything i can do and if others are experiencing the same problems can we do something about it?

I'm not getting lag from the BG. Haven't heard much from others either. Does it reload the image every time you go to a new page?

It is a free forums, and is a bit laggy.


Once the page is in your browser cache, it will go faster.

Make sure you are using a modern browser.

yeah its been laggy for myself - i was putting it down to the scrolling thread text??

do you guys and gals use it? or is it there for visitors to quickly navigate?

i use https://sonsofvalour.forumotion.com/search?search_id=newposts as my default page so ive no need for the scroller.

everything else seems normal...... and looking pretty sweet for BF3

I dont have lag, and i do use the scrolling post.

It is a free forums and it will not have high bandwidth.


Thats also one of the reasons I would like to switch to a new forums (at some point).

I am using chrome and when i scroll down a post it jumps and lags like a bitch

chromes working fine for me, sometimes it fucks out and the page is fucked but
thats on every web browser cause of connection issues.

There's your problem right there.
Should be more like 200-300kb if possible.

Open in PS, save for web, jpeg round 61%. Re-upload.
