FIRST OFFICIAL GA LADDER TRAINING - THURSDAY NIGHT

yeah i mean it was a bit rocky but our team kind of got the idea of that stairs set up

i think we just need to place people in spots. show them their exact area they need to protect
when we need to defend a flag.
also the good thing is if 2 people are down on their area the other two staircases are close
so they can help cover that until the people spawn.

if i could find a decent map of metro i'd make a diagram -.-


ALSO another thing, Scrims are a completely different game play, everything goes
and i think people need to be reminded that its not so much about high scores (because scrims are unranked)
but its mostly about working as a team, holding two cap points (never any point caping the one closest to their spawn) and holding it for the whole game.

i feel like we should practice on metro first (3 flags) and work our way up to bigger maps
and master them all.

Yeah I was looking earlier for some detailed maps but their hard to come by...

Each X denotes one squad assuming its 16 player per side? Otherwise just take out the squads that are not at blocking positions.

I hear ya - I in fact, did a strat graphic not long ago HERE. Using non-scanned versions of those in your link. They are very hard to find - and taking good screenshots is hard too!

What we do need, is a consistent way of marking up the strats - I can provide an illustrator file for this - just really need nice clean maps for background... [/rant]

Just to build a back up on that plan, I've been playing around with C4 traps on Metro (As Holy and a few others found out) and I've found their a good thing to fall back on, so say we get to those areas, setup the traps and then if we get pushed back as long as we have some troops to hold them back for a short while we should be able to destroy their advance.

This is just a rough idea on how it should go but the C4 placements like this are pretty good:



This is obviously for US only this setup but you get the idea, would be easy enough to make up one for the RU as well, I've already been playing around with them and think I might have the placements for them but needs a lil more testing.

Your c4 traps last night stopped so many people getting thru haha

Better hope that they don't throw any nades around the corners to set off the C4

Like I said its a rough idea for how we could set it up, but if we have the doors as a choke and just pull the C4 placement back a little from where we are setup it should be fine, but you are right, rocket, M320 or nade spam could be a problem for it.

A plan is better than no plan or a half assed plan .
