    can someone identify if the problem is on my end or something at the exhange ?

    this is a tracert and ping to our server which i believe is in sydney which should bring back much better results than this as im in sydney as well.

    I'd say its the exchange. You are getting the higher pings around the start of your tracert.

    that doesnt look good.


    It is either to do with the switching / exchange or backhaul to your ISP, or it could be the ISPs core network is heavily congested / not operating optimally.

    use pathping and submit it to your ISP.
    Its much better and shows packet loss.

    Looks like the exchange. See how your ping is spiking, that may be caused by line congestion because there is not a satisfactory level of infrastructure in your area that you are connected too.
