As said in the title, we are now working on it.

I have just signed up www.sonsofvalour.org to the vbulletin licence.
Currently just downloading vbulletin (latest ver)



Tom will try to install it tonight on his server.

By Graphics Design, do you want us to give you a code or just design it?

You will be working with word press portal.



Forums structure:


Wordpress (portal) -> vbulletin forum


Portal:
-News feed.
-Pics, links etc.
-Server statistics

I was thinking a bit more of a simple portal like,
Clan Banner,
Clan video in the middle,
Recruiting sign
Button underneath to enter to the forums

We all had a good chat about it last night.

The site is going to be a bit more than just forums. We want to get the feeling so that when people come to our site they see us as the best, a fully functional and committed clan that is devoted to bringing our members and the public fair and hack free servers.

On our front page we will have a news feed which will have the latest news on what the clan is up too, plans for the future, scrim statuses and pretty much anything else we feel everyone should know. Generally only the high council will be able to post here. The forums will be for discussion and general socialisation.

Does that sound about right Crusader?

There was last time to an extent too.





Im pretty much the #1 inquisition force to ensuring no one is abusing their powers and that things in the clan are fair. So because I am here frequently and have no exams on, you can be sure that things will be kept in check.

lets all hope that the site goes well unlike past attempts.

I didnt really get a choice last time.


I kept saying no because he who must not be named, wanted to move us all to his site.

When I said his site was not ready and had not been tested, he got all of his buds to force me to say yes. (its amazing that the promises of admin powers, can give someone so much support)

I had to give in because of the numerous support he had.




Needless to say I imagine its still working for him as hackers seldom manage to make & command a clan.

The forums is installed.



Priority:

1) Link vbulletin to portal
2) add mods
3) add graphics

Several new mods have been installed.


Site is working ok atm.

A few bugs with IE9. Can people please create an account (use your ingame alias as your username please).

Please test this with IE8/9, Firefox, Chorme, Safari and Opera (if you have any/all of these browsers).

Crusader and I will be working on the forums this Wednesday, Getting the basic themes installed, creating groups and pages.

Probably from around 3pm nz time onwards so if any one has an input just jump on vent and let us know.
