Possible 3rd SoV Server

There has been a few guys expressing interest in funding a 3rd server for SoV.

If we can discuss the options we want, we will choose maybe 5 and then have a poll.
However most of the people who have offered the cash do have the scrim practice in mind. So softcore is almost a requirement. We dont like it but we need it.

So far the requests have been

Softcore
Rush
T/S DM

Request it would be named as a SoV clan server, meaning we can do whatever we want with it. Not run it as a public sever. ie Change settings/maps/nuke it randomly keep everyone on their toes. Shut it down for training.

So given that, i am suggesting a mixed mode softcore server. Any and all possible game types.

Upside
Rush!!!! > More fun
SDM!!!!! > More fun
Softcore training. > Scrim team needs it.
Different server will attract more/variety of players(possible members) > More members

Downsides
If we do get another server we will need to upgrade our procon layer thing > More cash
We have another server to populate > More time
We have another server to admin > More time
Reduces number of sov members in each server > Less fun


P.S. I will have no part in this if anyone even remotely suggests anything to do with tehran highway. Its my way or the highway. har har

I vote terran highway, one of the best maps out, so under rated.

What server size are we looking at ? and will it suit the new maps ?

I dont believe anything had to be done to the servers on our end for that?
