Rules
General
All players and teams whilst engaged in this ladder, whether in server, in forums or other mediums are bound by the Code of Conduct, all rules, terms and conditions set ou on the BFGL site.
All players participating in this ladder must be a member of the BFGL site and a member of a registered BFGL team. Players or teams breaching this rule who attempt to field an unregistered player, or a registered member who is NOT a part of their team may have an forfeit awarded against them.
Pre-Match
Both teams have TEN MINUTES from the scheduled match start time to have their full team in the server. If by agreement of both teams, one or more teams cannot field the required number of players within the ten minutes, a further five minutes can be allowed.
A MAXIMUM of 15 minutes pre-match time is allowed for both teams to field the required numbers. If Either team cannot field the minimum number of players required for the team size after 15 minutes, the team who cannot field the required number of players loses by forfeit. If neither team can field the required players, the match is rescheduled, with a forfeit awarded against the CHALLENGING team.
Player Numbers
Each team must field FOUR players within the timeframe set out above.
Communications
Only team leaders are permitted to use global in game chat. If a team has more than one team leader listed on their team, they are to nominate a specific leader to lead the team for that match.
Once the teams are ready to start, their team leader will indicate in global chat, "CLANTAG READY". The admin will acknowledge this and await the opposing team's confirmation in the same format.
Once both teams are ready, the Admin will type into global chat, "Teams ready - live on restart". The round will then be restarted and the Admin will indicate via global chat, "ROUND ONE LIVE". The same process will apply for each subsequent round.
Intermission
Either team may request a five minute intermission between rounds. If this is requested, the opposing team must allow it, and the admin will not restart the next round until the five minutes has expired.
This intermission will be five minutes only. After the five minutes the admin will call for "READY TEAMS - 1 MINUTE TO ROUND START". Teams then have 60 seconds in which to indicate "CLANTAG READY". If one or both teams do not respond with ready, the round will be restarted in 60 seconds, and the round will be live.
Game Format & Scoring
Two rounds will be played. The winning team will be the team with the MOST MCOMS TAKEN over the two rounds. Teams will take it in turn to play attack and defence.
If there is a tie of MCOM numbers in the first two rounds, a third round will be played. The Third round will be a WIN or LOSS, based on the ROUND WIN, not MCOMS taken. Example, if the attacking team in the tie breaker WIN the round, they win the match by taking all MCOMS. If the defending team prevents the attackers from taking all the MCOMS and the game reports defender win, then the defending team has broken the tie and is the overall winner.
Vehicle Restrictions
No vehicles are to be used on this ladder. If vehicles are enabled for whatever reason, they are not to be touched.
Weapon Restrictions
All unlocks are permitted, except for B2K unlocks, which you cannot use.\
Each team is allowed ONE M320 Grenade Launcher at any one time, and ONE Mortar at any one time. If teams are detected using more than one of these weapons during a match the admin will end the match for award a forfeit against the offending team.
Server Settings
Standard hardcore server settings will be used.
Reporting Results
Match results are to be reported within 2 HOURS of the completion of the match. Failure by either team to do this (even the winning team) will result in a forfeit agains the team that did not report a result.
Disputes
If a team wishes to dispute the result of a match, they must lodge their dispute within 2 hours of the completion of the match. The timeframe for entering results will then be placed on hold. Any disputes lodged MUST include some kind of evidence, whether that be logs, screenshots or other evidence relevant to the alleged offence. Disputes entered without evidence will be dismissed. It's not good enough for you to "think" the other team did something wrong, you must have evidence.
The determination on the validity of the dispute will be placed into the hand of the admins. Admins will make a determination within 24 hours, advise both teams of the outcome and enter results accordingly.
Admin decisions on disputes are final and not open to discussion.
