Are we streaming to PBBans?

Banned a guy for Aimbotting last night and went to see if he was added to the PBBans and it turns our he isn't. Just wondering if the server streams to PBBans. Also I recommend that users who wish to join the clan provide their GUID which can be cross referenced with PBBans to see if they have been banned.

also we've had a couple of hackers on each night the past few nights, Can you please update PB if its out of date just so it kicks them right away instead of having to deal with them.

yeah this sounds good, we seem to be the only server that doesn't automatically pick up hackers on our server and auto kicks them
its frustrating.

PB has banned hackers on our server before. Even without PBBans Streaming.

But you do realize that people who get banned via PBBans generally change their CD keys to play again. Some get their soldiers moved to the new account. Most just make new ones.

So asking for all the players GUID won't bring out much. But we do want to look at new recruits and players on the servers.

I am unsure if players that get banned via PBBans are banned off our server automatically.

Just so everyone understands streaming to PBBans doesnt do shit it just shows up so and so was banned at this IP for this reason by PB everytime PB does a ban its automatically applied to the master bans list that all PB servers check when you join a server.

I see alot of people celebrating when they see someone banned for a aimbot on a server and saying that the server they are on is doing a good job without realising that ban was most likely from a server in Russia or some european server. Just looked at the ban list the last ban was a german on a euro server.

There is 16,959 bans for BC2 at the moment of this were for COD4 there is 70,401 with the highest. PB will ban weither we stream or not it just means we wont get that little message that some dick in germany was banned on some server we never heard of.

that maybe be the case but we could always put it up just as placebo to appease the whiners ?
i certainly didn't know it was the case in regards to PB and i'm sure it's the same for 95% of the BC2 community.

I think it'd do the opposite. Having ban messages makes many uneducated folk think they were on our servers and increases hackusations.

Personal experience is that we have few hackusations and problems due to current setup.

Streaming doesn't do fuck all. As boredman said. PB has banned hackers on our server without PBBans streaming. And it still means that they are banned from every other server as well.

we have way to many hackers coming in and out as they please on our servers, and people on our servers are getting aware of that and soon enough the server is going to be known as a "come test out your hacks server" therefore i think we should stream to pbbans at all times, its realy frustrating for the people that play fair..

So you are saying to use PBBans streaming as a deterrent for the hackers? I've been on PBBan streaming servers and there have been hackers galore.

But if that is what the people want, I'll be happy to set it up.

getting to the point where noone cares about getting pbbanned with BF3 getting so close so we are going to see an increase in hackers. Deal with it and be vigilant...

the only upside vs a hacker is its good training

Ghost you call anyone whos good a hacker or suss so what either hacking is more prevalent in the Australian and NZ community than ever or your Radar is whacked when it comes to hacks.

PBBans does nothing with the bans it just streams to everyone that ban i seriously wonder what you guys expect it to do apart from adding a extra line of crap on the top of the screen that no one will pay attention to. And if there is anyone overly suss they are normally called by their own team as fast if not faster than you will notice.

Alot of the time when im not in vent im normally watching the servers when possible (Jake need that IP) and i look at if people are suspect go to their stats and stuff.
