BATTLEFIELD 3 SERVER!

Hypernia have released Pre orders for BF3 Servers!!! HELLZ YEAH!!

Currently we easily have enough for a 3 month pre order for a 64 player server BUT! the aim is to pre order for 6 months which nets us a 10% discount.

Here's the maths:

$1.49 USD/slot = $95.37 USD/month.

With 10% Discount for 6 month pre order = $514.94.

Convert it all to AUD = $496.288 AUD/6 months. (Based on current currency prices)

Everyone please give as much as you can. I am not sure how much is in the treasury currently (Waiting on Freddy) but from memory its around the $350 mark.

Ouch that's a lot of money. maybe look at only getting a 32 player sever since we are only a small clan and then once the price comes down move to 64.

No way do we go for 32, donated my money on the belief we were getting 64. We get a few more hundred, get the 6 month discount and recruitment will pickup.

So get your spare change out, don't buy food for a couple of days, cause your clan needs you, and by you i mean your money.

ok ill make my first payment tonight and then next month make another (have spent 48k this month need to watch my moneys a bit).

But I wanna ask is are we going to flick the sever over to Rush now and again or add it into the game play so its a mix of Rush and Conquest, TOG and XTG had a system so there where 3 or 4 Conquest maps then a rush map or 2 and then back to Conquest. I don't wanna Donate for a sever I'm not gong to play on because I'm forced to find other sever just to play my kind of game type we should be accommodating for both types of game play. It would be great if we could have both types of game play on the one sever.

that would be good. have like 4 games of conquest then a couple of rush just to break it up a bit

ye reckon a 2:1 ratio would be good. Cause rush requires a lot different team play, and tactics. Plus i really enjoyed rush on metro. So yeah

We can have it with a bit of rush thrown in (That was the plan) We won't be having mixed rush and conquest server until a few days after everything is up and running. @ Finjo, you are our resident rush lover so I'm tasking you to play ALL the rush maps and give me the best two and we will add them to the rotation.

It is higher than the US dollar currently.

Throw them all in and then we can choose as a clan...... i think you know what one not to put in .

i don't like the idea of having rush and conquest on rotation, would prefer it if we dedicated a day or two just for rush so that community members have assurances that when they join on a specific day they'll be playing the game mode they want.

just my thoughts

I'll look into it and see if it possible too do it automatically otherwise it just becomes a hassle.

Fin, i will lend you my guns in finding the best rush maps. Very keen to have some rush on our server.

i wouldn't mind both. even if its not permanent it would be cool for like a week or something

i think its said. we have a mix of Conquest and Rush (make sure SOV members are added to sever so we dont have to wait in Q) there will be 9 maps.... but im guessing no one will like Metro so 8 playing maps 2 modes so 16 maps in one cycle. every1 should play both Conquest and Rush so we can get a feed back on what people like and dislike. The the other 4 maps will only be on dedicated severs and only playable to those who have the LE.

The other way we can do this is just throw 2 or 3 rush maps that look good for now and then myself and others can spend time on Rush severs and give our feed back on what maps to have and not have.

How do yall expect to have a mixed mode server when rush is limited to 32 players?

[EDIT] ...at least for the near forseeable future. Don't get me wrong - love rush - just not sure how (or if) that is going to work (other than capping at 32 players)

what about we? or other people in the clan. there is not 64 of us in the clan so if its on a 64 player map and then goes down to a 32 player map so what people not from our clan are going to miss out. why should i pay for a sever that doesnt have my game play?
