Which is the best NZ ISP?

For those kiwi's of the team - what ISP do you use and what would you rate them?

Im with telecom but I think I could be getting a better deal elsewhere.

Im thinking of going slingshot or maybe Telstra. I've heard some dodgy stuff about slingshot though from a few people so im looking for any comments you may have regarding your experiences with your ISP's

Dont go to Telstra Clear.


Bad price for ammount of data.




Im using slingshot (so is CK) totally fine on the AYCE plan (unlimited data).

$101 for phone line with free local calling + FS/FS ADSL2+ unlimited data.

Alternatively, there is a naked DSL unlimited for $90 with slingshot. Its a special deal so you need to ring and ask, or PM the slingshot guys on geekzone forums.


Note that the deals run out on the 7th Dec or something.




Other ISPs generally arent as fast as telecom, but some like slingshot have way more data.
