Clarification of spawn camping rule.

Hey,

I was just wondering what the exact rule is for spawn camping on our main server. I thought that it was alright to shoot into spawn (not in a vehicle) from a decent distance away. you arnt allowed to camp their spawn with a chopper, or a jet. You are allowed to do this however to a point which can be capped by both teams. ie on b2k one of the maps G has a heli pad for Americans. you are allowed to camp this point as it can be capped by both teams.

It applies to an uncap. If the team is defending one of the b2k assault maps, they have no uncap or base zone, meaning that they cannot be base raped. everything else is as u stated joel. Firing into and out of spawn in vehicles shouldnt be tolerated, shooting into and out of spawn is fine by infantry. Sitting on the edge of the enemy uncap/base and preventing the team from leaving their uncap is spawn rape.

Would you say it spawn rape if a sniper is shooting at infantry in the uncap, regardless of where they are running??

Snipers are infantry.
