New forums ideas & requests thread.

Please state ideas of what you would like in the new forums and if possible provide examples and pics.



I will be allocating time in one of the upcomming weekends to try and get it built.



Base idea I have right now:
-Light coloured theme (makes text reading easier).
-Widgets for time, servers, calendar & donations.


*Forums permissions etc will be done by the HC.
**Primary account will be handed over to the right person/people upon forums completion.

are you going to do a portal as well crusader? if so i would personally like a simple one, one with a nice theme with some room to put server banners there and links to our battlelog platoon and application thread. Stuff like that. The high council might have a discussion about this soon and we will get back to you if it is the case.

- I dont use the widgets too much at the moment and I think they make this current website cluttered. My suggestion would be to put the widgets on another page somewhere.

However, I really like (and use a lot) the latest topics widget, but I hate hate hate that it scrolls. Would love to have this latest topics widget bigger and static so that you can view the latest 10 posts or something like that.

- I dont use nor do I think there is no purpose for the chatbox.

-I hope by "light colored theme" you dont mean "white" because that's boring and a pain to read in a dark room lol.
-I really like the graphics on the honeybadgers site..not sure if your doing the graphics too or whatever.

That one is powered by word press. We actually have a nice WP theme, but you have vbulletin which is arguably better.

What we can do....


-WP portal (need to ask flashback to build this as hes a pro at it)
-VB forums (I can do this + the site theme, but not the graphics. You will need someone else with more skill than me).
