I'm playing, i know some of Daniels( Anons/ Anarchy stocking Guild is playing. (their guild IS a starwars guild afterall

so we could consider playing in the same realms as them.

curious to find out the monthly fee and to see if the limited edition pack is coming
to EB but no im definitely gonna play

would be cool to see more of us.

Always wanted to play another mmo! would definitely be keen :3

By some you mean all of our 150 or so current members, lol.
I should point out that our guild is part of a daisy chain with a lot of other pacific guilds so we will all be on the same server in an attempt to get as many oceanic people on one server instead of having us all spread out. I'll give you a yell when we know which server we will be going on when I find out.

Bioware is releasing 'worldwide'.

So no, it wont be, You have to get it off ebay or some similar US store.


ALSO, TO ANYONE WAITING FOR BETA INVITES
log in to your account as per normal on SW TOR.
Then type "http://www.swtor.com/tester" into your browser - you may find a weekend beta invitation there.

yeah maybe just off the SWTOR website then.

You cant even get it off origin. If your going to get it over a digital download you'll have to do it through a VPN so they think your from the US or some other release country. =\

no i meant the limited edition set...its on the swtor website... they'll have the region sorted after release. theres reasons on the SWTOR forums.

I quit WoW about a year ago and I'm looking forward to GW2. I really didn't like the fact that I had to shell out a monthly fee to pay for a game I already payed for, so you won't see me in TOR

As a KOTOR master i jizzed in my pants when i first heard of SWTOR, but i have a rule against playing MMOS that dont have aussie servers. Cant win face in combat with 250+ ping.
Lotro was such a bad experience with that, i dont wanna risk it.

i caved when i got that weekend testing thing. Will let that decide if i play or not. Doesnt look much better than kotor and will prob lag.

Good point. It's much easier when you are a healer/ranged though, coming from having an arena experience in WoW

I wont be playing it, I have played a few hours of the beta test and its just another wowish game, not much has changed, the voice acting gets very boring after the first hour I'm going to sit this one out and just wait for GW2 :-)

FML, my bf3 time is a tenth of my kotor time. I loved it. Played every class, unlocked all the dialogue fapped off to kirra on numerous occasions like an amputee fettish guy. Going to be so mad if dotdusha is right

Downloading for testing weekend atm. I'll let that decide. However qq on testers forum indicates its rushed, pvp isn't a focus and wtf australia hate. Rules out any melee class, IA/SOrc seems like the only choices.

this is not the type of thread to tell us you wont be playing or knock a game, some of us have been waiting for 4/5 years to get our hand on a new better MMO other than WOW or some cheap game alike. Our interest is SWTOR. i played wow for 6 years and i will not compare that game with SW. im a big fan and i believe it will be much better and give me the type of game play i like. After all its Star Wars.

P.s this is a happy thread no sad sacking.
