SWTOR Info: Cancel Amazon Pre order

Ok, so your amazon pre order got you beta. GG
It will also give you early access of 1-7 Days. Notified via email.
Paying $25 for express 2 day shipping due to 'christmas' had marked on my order 'You will not recieve this prior to 25 dec.

May be different for you, but i promptly cancelled my pre order. I'll still get early access but come 11:59 Dec 20th It will end until I activate my game code and set a subscription plan.

There are numeous sites offering the sale of an electronically delivered code (ebay etc) that you can enter to play from Dec 20th onwards. I suggest you do that instead of waiting for amazon delivery.

You may download the client now.
You may not purchase it via origin.
I have not tested proxying to bypass origin lock.
The game isnt locked, purchase is.

one thing we all need to know is are they going to lock country's i.e ban accounts if your Region isn't meant to get TOR yet.

Tor isnt region locked.

Purchase on origin/main site is.

Proxied origin, clicked buy, entered payment info, but could only select US canada as option so my card was declined.

Then added mass effect 3, used my cc details and 'saved them to origin', re-proxied and the country select said no.

Play early access till 20th.
Between 15th (origin sends game codes out)
and 20th (official launch and end of early access)
find a digital retailer to email you a key.
Enter it in swtor.com and/or origin.

Play and win. Till Feb when/if aussies get a local server then reroll or transfer.

Appearantly those in pregame guilds get priority in early access (up to 7 days)

to sum it all up its a croc of bull sh*t. we shouldn't have to wait so long.

Yea, it's all pretty shit really.
Luckily I have a few American guild members so I'll get my Amazon order sent to one of them instead and get them to give me the code. =D
